Capital with counsel attached.

Since 2008, we have deployed advisory, legal and investment capital across early-stage and growth businesses in hospitality, consumer technology, entertainment and retail.

Loliss draws on a network of EIS investors, family offices and institutional partners to support founders building businesses with conviction. We focus on situations where capital alone is not enough — where the right operational, commercial and legal counsel will materially change the outcome.

The principals offer a combined proposition. Jamie Barber brings two decades of operating, investing and board-level experience across hospitality, media and technology. Clare Barber, Corporate Partner at specialist entertainment law firm Level Law, provides legal counsel across M&A, private equity, venture capital, restructuring and joint ventures. Clare also acts as non-executive director to a number of growth-stage businesses.

Together, Loliss offers portfolio companies a rare combination of entrepreneurial experience, institutional access and in-house legal expertise — from initial capital raising through to acquisition and exit.

The institutional side of entertainment.

Loliss Capital's most significant current activity is its work alongside Domain Capital Group — one of the most active institutional financiers in global entertainment.

Atlanta-based Domain Capital Group manages approximately $8.2 billion in total assets through its SEC-registered investment adviser subsidiaries. Its Media, Entertainment & Technology vertical alone manages $2.3 billion, with a twelve-year track record across film libraries, television participations, music rights and select new production investments.

Loliss assists Domain's Entertainment Funds in the UK and Europe on the acquisition of royalty streams and profit participations across Music, Film, Television and Sports, and separately assists Domain's private credit funds on earlier stage investments in entertainment and sports.

Botinkit operations

Botinkit is the leading food robotics company in Asia.

Loliss acts as both investor and Board Advisor to Botinkit, and is currently building a go-to-market strategy for the UK and Europe. The business reports revenues approaching $100m annually and recently completed Series B and B+ rounds totalling $50m — bringing cumulative capital raised to $68m.

Botinkit Omni — fully automated cooking system

Our investment thesis: the most transformative changes in food and hospitality will be driven by automation, data and robotics — and the window to back category-defining businesses remains narrow. Botinkit sits at the centre of that thesis, building the operating system for automated food production at scale.
